I am very excited to announce that this March, IHOGeek will be hosting their very own panel at AllCon in Dallas, Tx. I’ve lurked several speed dating sites in order to make sure I’ve researched everything properly so, if you happen to be attending AllCon this year (and a few other conventions I’m confirming for), come by and say hello! Each year at conventions, I notice a large amount of people are looking for love among legions of people just like them. This can certainly be daunting to even the most outspoken individual so I decided to organize a Geek Speed Dating event!

As of right now, the schedule for AllCon has us as follows: 

“Geeky Speed Dating (18-25)” Friday 9pm-10pm
“Geeky Speed Dating (LGBT)” Saturday 9pm-10pm
“Geeky Speed Dating (26-39)” Sunday 10am-11am

You can sign up two different ways. Either fill out this application form and email it to us at ihogeek@gmail.com OR find me in my green IHOGeek shirt during the convention and sign up there. I’m only accepting 40 people MAX per panel so if you’d like to sign up, do so! Also, be sure to read the rules (don’t worry, there isn’t many)!

The event is currently 18 and over and I will be checking ID’s at the door. I’m sorry, but the convention organizers think there’ll be less problems this way.

I should be plenty easy to find during the convention as I’ll also be carrying a huge picket sign as I walk around. Also, you’ll see several flyers looking like this which is what I hope I’ll look like with my sign. Obviously this is a cute, chibi version and not what you’ll actually see -_-
