Who: Mike Miller

What: Cover Artist for the Game of Thrones comic series, father of many children.

Britt: What is your biggest challenge?

Mike: Making sure I get everything right.

Britt: Where does your inspiration come from?

Mike: HA! The books themselves. I get references from the interior artist as well.

Britt: Who is your favorite character?

Mike: I have learned better than to get attached to any character.

Britt: What are your current projects?

Mike: Fargrove DVD covers, the covers for comics. Also, making sure that my kids stay in line. So I guess, trying to work in spite of constant interruption from my kids.

*laughs*

Britt: What is the most rewarding part of your work?

Mike: Well, I am an artist, so seeing my work done before the deadline.

Britt: Any tips?

Mike: Learn absolutely everything about your craft. And don’t be arrogant.
