EVO Championship Series 2011 Wrap up

The Evolution Championship Series is a video game tournament that is held annually and focuses exclusively on fighting games. In fighting game communities it is commonly known as “Evo”, and is THE video game tournament for fighting games in the United States. The tournament came to a close last night, if you missed it , I’m sorry. The whole tournament was filled with “Oh” moments and had me at the edge of my seat, it was epic!

Here is the breakdown of the results, well just the first and second place champs.

BlazBlue CS2 Grand Final

1st place: “Spark” who used the character Hakumen

2nd place: “Lord Knight” who used Litchi

Tekken 6 Grand Final

1st place: “Kor” , character used: Bob

2nd place: “Fab” finished the game with Bob

Mortal Kombat Grand Final

1st place: “Perfect Legend” used the character Kung Lao

2nd place: “Reo” with the character Mileena

Marvel vs Capcom 3 Grand Final

1st place: “Box Viscant” his team consisted of Phoenix, Haggar, and Wesker

2nd place: ” PR Rog” whose team was Dante,Wolverine,and Tron

Super Street Fighter AE Grand Final

1st place:”Fuudo” with Fei Long

2nd place: “Latif” who used C.Viper
