Surprise! It’s been 30 years since the first Ghostbusters movie came out, and Funko Pop! is celebrating with a new line of vinyl figures. Here’s why this is exciting news; besides the fact that you can now collect all your favorite phantom fighters in tiny plastic form; the Ghostbusters line of vinyls will be the first to include a super-sized figurine, as well as an addition to their semi-transparent characters and a new Pop! Rides collectible.
Beginning in April, you can collect the whole team: Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Raymond Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddmore in the Ecto-1, as well as Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Zeddmore will only be available in the Ecto-1, and will release a month after the rest of the team in May.
The standard Funko Pop! figurine is 4″ tall, but the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is kicking off Funko’s new “super-sized” line of vinyls, at a whopping 6″. Alright, he may not be tall enough to terrorize Manhattan, but he will certainly be imposing next to the standard sized Funkos in your collection. Imposing, and yet still somehow adorable.
