A good friend of mine, Ms. Rachel Rose DeSimone, professional makeup artist, was recently scoped to do the styling and makeup for a “Hunger Games” inspired photo shoot.

For a wedding site. Yup. Nothing says true love like dystopia world and teenage violence. But truly, she is amazing and the shoot is very well done. For all you nerds who love the sound of chiming bells ( don’t dive for the supply bags yet) check this out.

Rachel’s pretty cool because underneath all that swagger and bitchin’ makeup, she’s a true nerd at heart. A Star Wars loving, Mark Hamil hugging ( yes, there is a picture of that, no you can’t see it), chunky glasses wearing nerd. And she has raised two BEAUTIFUL dogs.
