Too far.
Hollywood has gone too far this time. Adaptations are not uncommon, especially in movies. We have video games, comics, and even hit 80’s television series all coming to the big screen all the time! However, this is just one step in the wrong direction. Coming May 2012, a movie based off the boardgame Battleship will hit theaters. Part of me thinks they wanted to simply attach the famous franchise name to grab more viewers, but probably not. The only redeeming factor for this movie is that it stars Liam Neeson, the greatest actor of all time. That still may not be enough.
