IHOG Is Going To AnimeFest!

Labor Day approaches and for us, that means AnimeFest. It’s a four day convention held in the heart of downtown Dallas and it is an event to behold! Stuffed to bursting with cosplayers, 24hr video rooms, and anime celebs, I generally have a lot of fun. The purpose of this convention is to meet fellow fans, view new anime, buy a LOT of merchandise, and just reveling in all that is anime. So far, the schedule is packed with events like LARPing, the Reaper’s Game (I don’t even know what that IS), cosplay crafting, anime jeopardy, even a panel named Naked Bacon. I am super intrigued.

So, who are the bigwigs gonna be at this year’s AnimeFest? Performing will be Bowling for Soup and the guest of honor is Dai Sato. That’s correct. Dai Sato, creator of a little game called Pocket Monsters. There will also be many voice actors and actresses who will be doing panels, signing autographs, or maybe even just walking around like you and I.
